Our LI sober houses offer an environment free of drugs and alcohol. We have a zero tolerance policy to protect the sobriety of all of sober men and sober women so their own sobriety isn't jeopardized.
All sober and recovery house residents are required to follow certain guidelines, actively participate in the home's daily tasks and adhere to the structure, leadership and rules of our sober living houses.
All of our LI sober house residents are required to attend 12-step meetings and actively participate in their own growth in sobriety - and help others along the way on their own journey too.

The primary rule in all of our sober houses on is that our residents must stay sober. We have a zero tolerance policy. Our sober living residents are simply not allowed to use alcohol or drugs. In some cases, residents cannot even use certain types of mouthwash or cook with certain ingredients (such as wine or vanilla). These items could contain alcohol that may risk relapse or lead to false positives if the resident is ever subjected to a drug or alcohol test.
In addition, products such as these may increase the risk of relapse, as residents might
attempt to get drunk or high by misusing these items. We will always reserve the
right to ban any other items that contain alcohol.
In addition to these rules, people who live in our addiction recovery houses are encouraged
to find work or go to school during the day. Our sober living home residents must also
contribute to the home by doing assigned chores.
Our men's and women's sober house residents must also attend a 12-step program meeting each day. They must refrain from violence. Residents of our sober houses are required to be home by a certain time each night.
These rules help residents learn to be responsible for themselves and their behavior.
